Another Hamsa hand. The hamsa hand (Arabic) or hamesh hand (Hebrew) is an old and still popular apotropaic amulet for magical protection from the envious or evil eye. The words hamsa and hamesh mean “five” and refer to the digits on the hand. An alternative Islamic name for this charm is the Hand of Fatima, in reference to the daughter of Mohammed. An alternative Jewish name for it is the Hand of Miriam, in reference to the sister of Moses and Aaron.

Like wearing a miniature artwork, each piece is truly unique with the intricate design hand painted and set within a very light stainless steel frame. Austrian crystals, beads and a variety of other materials are delicately assembled and set in artists resin resulting in a beautifully finished and durable piece. Truly a work of art, this the Hamsa necklace is exceptionally well made and is produced in limited editions.

This pretty charm bracelet harbors a secret deeper meaning. The charms spell out the Buddhist mantra for meditation – Om Mani Padme Hum. This is popularily translated as “Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus.”

This mantra is particularly important in Tibetan Buddhism, where it is associated with the Dalai Lama and the bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokitesvara, which he represents.

An angel is an inspired being found in many religions. Although the nature of angels and the tasks given to them vary from tradition to tradition, in Christianity, Judaism and Islam, they typically act as messengers from God. Other roles in religious traditions include acting as warrior or guard; the concept of a “guardian angel” is popular in modern Western culture. Angels are usually viewed as emanations of a supreme divine being, sent to do the tasks of that being. Traditions vary as to whether angels have free will or are merely extensions of the supreme being’s will. While the appearance of angels also varies, many views of angels give them a human shape.

Let this radiant gemstone angel accompany you on all your journeys. Crafted in polished 10 karat white gold, she has a face of delicate blue-lavender tanzanite and a gown of rich purple amethyst. The round and trillion-shaped stones are cradled securely in four-prong settings. Beautifully detailed wings, enhanced with six diamond accents (.03 cttw), complete the design. This dainty angel dangles below a tapered gold bale and presents on an 18-inch light rope chain.

Triquetra (IPA: [tɹaɪ'kwεtɹə]) is a word derived from the Latin tri- (“three”) and quetrus (“cornered”). Its original meaning was simply “triangle” and it has been used to refer to various three-cornered shapes. Nowadays, it has come to refer exclusively to a certain more complicated shape formed of three vesicae piscis, sometimes with an added circle in or around it.

The Triquetra is an ancient symbol used to represent the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This appropriation was particularly easy because the triquetra conveniently incorporated three shapes that could be interpreted as Christian Ιχθυς symbols. A common representation of the symbol is with a circle that goes through the three interconnected loops in the Triquetra. The circle emphasizes that through the combination of the three elements, a ‘whole’ is created, and the latter is influenced by each of the elements. It stresses unity, which is one of the most fundamental ideas of Christianity. Created using intertwined Celtic knot work, these earrings are a lovely and elegant way to express your faith.

Aum (also Om) is a mystical or sacred syllable in the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions. It is placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred exclamation to be uttered at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas or previously to any prayer or mantra and also is said in the beginning of any puja (religious ritual). The Mandukya Upanishad is entirely devoted to the explanation of the syllable.

The Om or Aum is of incredible importance in Hinduism. The symbol stands for the sound used to represent Brahman, the source of all existence. This Ring Modeled after the Tibetan Prayer Wheel Has a Center Band That is Free To Spin Around the Ring.

Each piece is truly like a miniature artwork, the intricate design is hand painted and set within a very light stainless steel frame. Austrian crystals, beads and a variety of other materials are delicately assembled and set in artists resin resulting in a beautifully finished and durable piece. Truly a work of art, the pin is exceptionally well made and is produced in limited editions.

Budai (Chinese: 布袋; pinyin: bùdài) or Budai Luohan, pronounced Hotei in Japanese, also known as the Laughing Buddha, is an interpretation of the Bodhisattva Maitreya, the predicted Buddha to succeed Gautama Buddha in the future.

He has become incorporated into Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto culture and is based on an eccentric Chinese Zen (Chán) monk who lived in the time of the Liang Dynasty. His image graces many temples, restaurants, amulets, and businesses. Budai has become a deity of contentment and abundance, when adopted by religious Taoists and Buddhists. In Japan, Hotei persists in folklore as one of the Seven Lucky Gods (Shichi Fukujin). He is almost always shown smiling or laughing, hence his nickname in Chinese, the “Laughing Buddha” (Chinese: 笑佛).

This 14k yellow gold pendant makes a great addition to any jewelry collection and can be worn on many occasions. The total metal weight of this pendant is 0.28 grams. This pendant has a length of 10 mm, a width of 13 mm.

Saint Barbara is one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers (also known as Helpers in Need). Her association with the lightning that killed her father has caused her to be invoked against lightning and fire; by association with explosions, she is also the patron of artillery and mining. Her feast on 4 December was included in the Tridentine Calendar, having been introduced in Rome in the twelfth century. In 1729 that date was assigned to the celebration of Saint Peter Chrysologus, reducing that of Saint Barbara to a commemoration in his Mass. In 1969, because the accounts of her life and martyrdom were judged to be entirely fabulous, lacking clarity even about the place of her martyrdom, it was removed from that calendar. But she is still mentioned in the Roman Martyrology, which, in addition, lists another ten martyr saints named Barbara.

Orthodox Christians have never ceased to venerate Saint Barbara, who is very popular among them. For them too her feast day is 4 December. In the 12th century, the relics of Saint Barbara were brought from Constantinople to the St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery in Kiev, where they were kept until the 1930s, when they were transferred to St. Vladimir’s Cathedral in the same city.
